I have room for 5 more note cards in my album. When I bought it last summer I don't think I really saw myself actually filling it up. It seemed impossible, but now it's almost here. Maybe I'll swing by Wal-Mart next weekend and get another one that hold 100 more, so I can finish up the year. June 20th, 2009 will be one year of making one note card every day, without missing a day. I started because I saw work by someone in Little Italy who did the same thing and sold them for $6 each. I did some quick math and decided to go for it (after all, that's $2000 in a year). As of right now, I have 27 in April, 31 in May, and 20 in June. I don't know what I'm going to do with it when it's done. I'd like to put them in fiberglass so that I can display them or something. Julianne suggested giving them to my favorite kid. We'll see what happens.
Tonight I checked up on the blog of my dear friend Melissa Hastings (

Then I thought about it and realized that she is a year older than me and has a book of her work out there already. Makes me feel like I haven't done very much with my time here. I can't think of a single piece of artwork that would actually sell if I put it up, or of any series that would sell a book. It's something for me to think about over the next couple weeks.
Also, I revamped my website:
